Find your way back.

Step out of the noise. Make a little space for yourself.

There are many ways back.

Maybe one of them is yours.

The Way Back offers gentle experiences through writing, reflection, nature, and connection—ways to slow down, get curious, and make a little space to hear yourself again.

What do you need a little more of?

The Unhurried Hour

One hour to slow down, get curious, and hear yourself think. Simple writing and reflection, with a little conversation and connection along the way.

Journal to the Self®

A six-week guided writing experience to explore what matters, notice patterns, find clarity, and reconnect with your own voice.

Begins in October in Cascais. Small groups, six weeks, and no journaling experience needed. Interested in joining from somewhere else? Online groups are available by request.

Forest Walks

Step outside the usual pace. Guided experiences in nature with time to slow down, notice, and reconnect. First walk: September 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Quinta do Pisão, welcoming the Autumn Equinox.

Sound Walks

Slow down and listen to the world around you a little differently. Join a free Sound Walk in Cascais on September 12 or 13—no experience needed.

A little space can change a lot.

Life gets busy. Noisy. Full of other people’s ideas, expectations, and answers.

The Way Back is about making a little room to hear your own.

Why The Way Back?

I’ve often been the strong one. The independent one. The person people assume will be okay because, one way or another, I’ll handle it.

And I do.

But I know that being able to handle something doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt. It doesn’t mean you don’t get tired. And it doesn’t mean you don’t need somewhere to put what you’re carrying.

Writing, time outside, books, quiet, creativity, and real connection have all been ways I’ve taken care of myself through grief, change, uncertainty, and some of the hardest chapters of my life.

They haven’t given me all the answers.

They’ve helped me stay connected to myself while I find my way through.

That’s why I created The Way Back: to make more spaces where we can turn down everyone else’s voices for a while, tend to ourselves, get curious, and hear our own again.
